Celebrate a private party with a fun workshop in Atelier Noord and experience how relaxing and fun it can be to be creative together! With us you can bring your own snacks and drinks, we will provide the coffee and tea. Choose from the following 6 workshops:

1. CLAY EXPERIENCE 
This workshop is all about experimenting and having fun with clay. Everyone can turn and play to their heart’s content!
After taking a nice group photo, all clay works of art are recycled. So sustainable, nothing is fired, it’s about the experience with each other in a relaxed atmosphere. Come visit and we’ll make it a fantastic party.

2. POTTERY 
During this workshop you will learn to turn a pot on the potter’s wheel and make a bowl in a plaster mold.
You can freely clay or sculpt whatever comes to your mind to your heart’s content. There are many beautiful stamps and nice examples in the cozy studio.
After drying, your artwork will be fired and can be picked up. It has then become stone hard and can possibly be painted at home with regular paint.

3. GLAZES 
For enthusiasts, it is possible to book a GLAZE workshop as a follow-up to the POTTERY workshop. You will receive an explanation about glazing, we have many beautiful colors to choose from! Then you paint your previously made and fired works of art. It will be fired in the kiln at 1080 degrees.
After a few weeks it can be picked up to enjoy and use at home (waterproof ).

4. TRANSFERS 
In this workshop you can decorate tableware with very nice decorations. You can choose from many different pictures of flowers, herbs, fish and many more funny vintage images. You glue this with a little water, like a temporary tattoo, on white tiles, existing plates, bowls and cups that we have in stock. Super fun, anyone can do it!
Everything will be fired at 830 degrees and is then ready to use (dishwasher safe)

5. POTTERY + COLORS 
In this workshop you can give the bowls and turned pots a nice decoration with colored clay sludge, this is also called engobe. With engobe you paint immediately on the unfired clay. After a few weeks, your artwork will be dry and we will glaze it for you and fire it at 1080 degrees in the ceramic kiln. Because the work is given a transparent layer of glossy glaze, the colors become very beautiful and it is waterproof.
At Atelier Noord it is ready to be picked up and enjoyed at home after about a month!

6. MIX of everything! 
Overwhelmed by choices or do you want to keep all options open? Choose the Mix! so that everyone can do what appeals to him or her.
Sculpting, pottery making, painting with colored clay sludge and decorating on tiles and crockery.
Go with the flow and get inspired in the studio!
